This is my interpretation of Olafur Eliasson’s In Real Life installation at Tate Modern in 2020. Featuring me as the figure, the piece combines photography, digital manipulation, and typography to symbolise the weight of emotional struggle. The globe represents life’s burdens, while my posture reflects quiet resilience.
It’s a deeply personal exploration of strength and endurance amid life’s challenges.

balancing
Syncing in different levels to different matters is what our body and souls are designed for and devoted to—or rebel against.
Like every word is described by another word.
October 11, 2019
Today, I sketched a figure crouched in contemplation, their posture relaxed yet full of presence. The texture of the paper, combined with ink and delicate shading, captures a fleeting moment of introspection.
This piece reflects on how our bodies and souls align—or sometimes resist—different energies and purposes. It’s a metaphor for the human condition, a delicate balance between synchrony and rebellion. Just as one word defines another, so too are we shaped by the contexts and relationships surrounding us.
The act of drawing this felt meditative, a reminder of how art translates thoughts and feelings into a language of its own.
